Sri Ma Yoga School, Australia is a Registered Yoga School (RYS 200 and RYS 500) with Yoga Alliance, USA and 350 Hours TTC with Yoga Australia, which designates its teacher training program as one which follows their higher standards of delivering TTCs. Students who complete an approved training with this school may be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYTs) & with Yoga Australia.
Yoga Vidhya (knowledge) is a science and it has two main branches a. Yoga Darshan (philosophy) and b. Yoga Abhyasa (skills). Asana, Pranayama and Meditation are all its very important applications among many others. Based on this yogic principle, our school’s primary mission is to impart this age-less and time-less yogic knowledge through our various courses. All our courses and classes are based on the fundamental principle of Panch Kosha (five sheaths) system and Ashtanga Yoga System as explained by Sage Patanjali in his Yoga Sutra Book.

How do we operate?

Regular Yoga Classes
You can choose from 90 or 120 minutes long classes. In the regular classes, you have enough time to practice two main limbs of YOGA - asana (poses) & pranayama (breathing techniques). At our school, we make sure that you do not practice in an over-crowded space. Each session is carefully organised in a small group of students providing maximum benefit with enough time for the explanation and correction of techniques for each asana (pose). You progress at your own pace with adequate guidance and support from the teacher to move further into your fitness and spiritual journey. Please see our time table for class times. You can buy 5 or 10 class pass. |
Weekend Events/Workshops
Short courses offered mostly on weekends are excellent way to deepen your knowledge and practice of yoga. Since each course tend to concentrate on one or two individual topics of yoga system, you have time to understand these topics and apply the techniques learnt in the course. It is also good for people who can not attend weekly classes due to other commitments in their life. These courses are good way to do something different other than everyday mundane of life. All short courses are one day long starting at 9:30 and finishing at 3 pm. Cost for each short course is $108/-Included Yoga asana chart; & Light vegetarian refreshment & spiced India tea |

Teacher's Training Courses (TTCs)
100/200/350/500 Hrs You can register into 100/200 Hrs TTC to deeply immerse yourself into the philosophy of yoga. If you have completed 200 Hrs TTC from other places, you can enhance your training & learning by registering into 350 hrs TTC. |
