Core Strengthening System - Yogic Way

Introduction

Inner/Core muscles aren't just your "6-pack abs". 

It's a system of deeply hidden abdominal and other muscles that provide trunk STABILITY, and keep us humans moving through life. 

This course focuses on yoga asanas and associated movements that belong to working primarily on our core. The practice of this very well balanced regime of backward & forward bending asanas can correct postural defects and neuro-muscular imbalances of the vertebral columns. These yoga asanas are stimulating and extroverting. 

​Having good core strength can make such a difference to the way your body moves. It can help you in your Yoga practice, and in the other sporting and everyday activities of your life. ​

This sequence not only strengthen the muscular structure of the core but effect of practicing this sequence penetrates deeply into our digestive system. Yoga advocates great emphasis on the healthiness of digestive systems. The digestive system plays an important role in the health of a particular person. One is indeed fortunate if he/she has no problem with his/her digestive system
The physical practice part of this course will end with a specialised form of a deep relaxation focused to alleviate back pain.
Learning Objectives

In this course, you will learn and understand the following:
  • What is the core exactly?
  • Core muscle anatomy including abdominal, hips and spinal musculature?
  • What does the core do to our body?
  • How to effectively engage your core muscles in everyday life, doing yoga poses & other forms of exercises?
  • Yoga poses and preparatory yogic movements to strengthen core.
In this course, you will learn systematically, step-by-step sets of seven asanas:

  • Set I Abdominal muscle strength building sequence and preparatory movements
  • Set II Abdominal twisting sequence and preparatory movements
  • Set III Bhujangasana with preparatory movements and variations
  • Set IV Shalabhasana with preparatory movements and variations
  • Set V Dhanurasana with preparatory movements and variations 
  • Set VI Bhekasana with preparatory movements and variations 
  • Set VII Resting asanas and counter asanas for each movements
Target Audience
All are welcome. Good specially for people suffering from back pain and week abdominal strength. This course is also good fort people suffering from anxiety and stress. This course is excellent for people of shy & introvert nature.
