Yoga for Family & Kids

These classes focus on Mums/Dads and Littlies from age 3 to 6. The classes are offered throughout the year - during school term and school holidays both. You can attend any or both depending on your need & availability.
This program will provide children to have a set of skills that can be applied to their everyday busy lives, where they know they can give themselves quiet time, breath deeply and relax.
The classes are carefully designed specifically for children who are going through growth & development. Don’t worry whether you & your kids are completely new to the practice of Yoga or have been doing it for some time, all are welcome to become the young learners of Sri Ma School and MOVE BREATHE CALM STUDIO.
Each sessions is thoughtfully & very well designed incorporating all the essential elements of yoga which are extremely helpful for growing children’s physical, mental & emotional needs.

These important yoga techniques are introduced to the children through the use of storytelling, yoga music and dance, yoga games and partner/group work. Some of the important benefits that the practice of yoga brings are:

- stabilise their emotions, focus their mind, and increase their physical overall well-being.
- increase overall stamina, flexibility and agility.
- ability to regulate their day to day emotions and overcome the challenges of life.
The children are taught to develop grace, skill, freedom, courage, quickness, steadiness, a sense of balance, agility, suppleness, sharpness, and physical and mental control.

MONDAY:
These classes are for age 3-6 years. This is a fun 30 minutes of yoga dance and poses that has storytelling and games. Fun yoga breathing and relaxation time to connect and nurture the family.
Class Fees:
If paid up front for ten weeks then Two family members $20, three family members $30, more than three from $35. Casual - cost increases by $5.
