Part A Yoga Knowledge/Philosophy (Yoga Darshan)

- Overview of the four main paths of Yoga: Karma, Bhakti, Jnana, and Raja
- Fundamental principles of Yoga and yogic living

- Accurate recall and pronunciation of Sanskrit names of key postures and breathing techniques
- Understanding of the physical, mental, and energetic benefits of each asana
- Awareness of precautions and contraindications
