Course Structure
This is a skill-based course designed to develop your ability to demonstrate and apply foundational yoga techniques. The course is divided into three modules.
Module 1: Sūkṣma Vyāyāma
This module focuses on the key joints of the body and subtle energy movement. It includes practices that support mobility, coordination, and overall wellbeing.
You will study:
Module 2: Sūrya Namaskāra
Learn the classical Haṭha Yoga Sun Salutation with awareness, alignment, and breath integration. This module supports rhythm, coordination, and the linking of movement with breath.
Module 3: Yogāsana
This module introduces foundational classical Hatha Yoga postures and integrated sequencing.
You will practice and study:

Course Structure

- Anatomy of key synovial joints.
- Natural range of movement in the toes, ankles, knees, hips, trunk, fingers, wrists, elbows, shoulders, and neck.
- A complete yogic sequence for maintaining joint health and mobility.
- The physiological and energetic effects of each practice.
Module 2: Sūrya Namaskāra
Learn the classical Haṭha Yoga Sun Salutation with awareness, alignment, and breath integration. This module supports rhythm, coordination, and the linking of movement with breath.
Module 3: Yogāsana
This module introduces foundational classical Hatha Yoga postures and integrated sequencing.
You will practice and study:
- Forward bends: Padānguṣṭhāsana, Padahastāsana, Paścimottānāsana.
- Standing poses: Tikonāsana, Parivṛtta Trikonāsana, Vīrabhadrāsana I & II, Vṛkṣāsana.
- Seated and supine variations: Vajrāsana, Ardha Supta Vajrāsana, Ardh Supta Eka Pada Padānguṣṭhāsana.
- Backbends: Uṣṭrāsana, Bhujaṅgāsana, Śalabhāsana, Dhanurāsana.
- Twists and restorative poses: Supta Udārakṛṣāsana, Śavāsana.
- Integral yoga sequences that combine standing, seated, twisting, backbending, and supine postures in a holistic flow.
