Welcome to Sri Ma Yoga School - A Boutique Yoga Studio nestled in the foothills of Mount Coot-tha, in the leafy and tranquil suburb of Chapel Hill, Australia — is founded with the intention of offering course-based classes with highly individualized yoga education.
- Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self -

A Registered Yoga School (RYS 200) with Yoga Alliance. Graduates of our accredited programs are eligible to register as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYTs) with Yoga Alliance.

A comprehensive and holistic approach to yoga teachings which extends well beyond yoga asana (postures), encompassing the philosophical, psychological, and spiritual aspects of yoga — guiding students toward a deeper, more authentic connection with the Self.
At the heart of our methodology is personalised guidance from Principal Yoga Teacher Veena — a Registered Level 3 Senior Teacher with Yoga Australia and E-RYT 200 and E-RYT-500 level with Yoga Alliance. Each student is supported in uncovering their inner yogi, deepening their connection with body, breath, and mind through a journey of self-inquiry, conscious awareness, and transformation.

Testimonials
See what our students are already feeling & observing everyday in their life:
“Yoga has brought me a deeper awareness of my body, my emotions, my strengths & weaknesses. I feel a lot more relaxed and calmer since I have started practicing yoga at Sri Ma School”, Janine.
“First of all thank you so much Veena for teaching us authentic and true yoga. All this time, I was looking for yoga and now I am satisfied that I have found real yoga teacher. It has helped my body and mind both”, Chetna.
“Since starting yoga as a beginner, I have started to feel a real difference in my posture, strength & movement. I’ve also been an asthmatic since childhood and have found that learning different breathing techniques (pranayama) and putting them into daily practice, as shown by our master teacher, I am finding I have more control and am using less medication.” Tracey Studin.
“I have much more confidence to do more physical things in everyday life. I feel that I can move more freely.”, Debbie Fraser.
"After doing yoga for a few months now, I am stronger, more flexible, and able to deal with stress better. And my digestive issues are much more manageable”, Chante Studin.

ATHA YOGA ANUSHANANAM
Sutra I.1 अथ योगानुशासनम्॥१॥
Now the exposition of Yoga is being made.
To sincerely begin the pursuit of Self-realization is a most significant step in life, when the highest goal of life is taken on as number one on your list of things to do. The first word of the Yoga Sutras is atha, which means now (1.1).
